My name is Karl James Mountford. I've just finished my BA (hons) in Illustration, graduating with a First class degree. I'm now working as a freelance illustrator, while i study for my Masters degree in Visual communication.

I work in  all fields of the term 'Illustration'  from painting, mix media, digital (still learning that one) live art, childrens books, advertising..anything i can get my hands on.

I have a few styles I work in, which I  think is a good thing ?..although, I do feel like I have multiple personalities when it comes down to illustration, but you can still see the foundations of where it all comes from...

Over all, I proper love it. I dont think I would want to be or do anything else....unless I could be a husky voiced folk singer, with white hair touring the world...
